This weekend was AWESOME (except towards the very end)!! On Friday, friends and I went to Markoff's haunted woods in MD and it was definitely worth the drive and money. You have to wait for a while but while waiting there are huge bonfires, food, and activities to do....it is pretty sweet.
Saturday I went to Kings Dominion. That was pretty busy (we also go there kind of late) but that was very fun. Riding roller coasters at night is much more fun that during the day (but it is a lil colder). We had to take my roommate's sister back home to VCU afterwards and that is when the night became interesting. She had been complaining to my roommate how this guy had completely lead her on and then just blew her off. She also found out that while he was talking to her he was also talking to other girls. My roommate got tired of hearing about this guy and found out that he was at a party so we decided to go and ruin his night (just to be stupid and for fum!). It took about 30 mins to figure out why we needed to get into the frat party and what we were gunna do when we got there. "Winging it" seemed like the best idea since we couldn’t decide on one particular idea. We get in there (after being carded which was kind of sweet because I have been feeling old lately) saying that we were looking for our "friend".
We get in there and a couple things happened:
First: we were severely undressed and looked kind of rough because we had been on roller coasters all day
Second: we had been drinking (somewhat) but it was nothing compared to the 18 year old freshman in there so drunk that they didnt seem to notice us walking in
Third: we saw the "man of the hour" dancing with some girl and his skills were very sub-par.
My roommate’s cousin wanted to dance over towards him and kind of give him a bump just to annoy. My roommate wasn’t sure about the idea but decided to go along with it. They start dancing and I was going to join but realized it might not look right and didn’t want to attract too much attention to us (besides I wanted to watch it all go down).
So they get closer and closer and all of a sudden my roommate takes her cousin bt the arms and slams her into the guy! He goes down along with his girl and everyone in the room stops. Then my roommate wanted to put a cherry on top and starts yelling at him "what they hell dude? Why did you just run into us? You need to apologize to my cousin" (as she takes her cousin and pushes her towards him). He puts his hands in the air and gives a very scared "sorry" face and starts to put his hand out to shake hers. She puts her hands in the air yelling, "hell no!!" and walks away. A few other choice words were said to him afterwards and then we left. By and by it was pretty awesome to watch. He looked star-struck and honestly....scared.
We get outside and walk over to my roommate's sister (who was waiting around the corner) and told her what happened. She starts laughing along with the friend who was with her and we start heading back to her campus dorm and our car.
That was when karma came back to us....
There was a white car parked on the side of the road (remember this is
Richmond we are talking about) with a couple guys inside. They start talking to us and driving slowly near to curb as we walked the sidewalk, "Hey ladies! Hows it going? Want to come and party with us" (not sure why they were talking to us when we looked the way we did) "Come on ladies it will be fun!"
My naive roommate's sister and her friend start yelling at them to leave them alone (getting cocky after our earlier encounter) and I knew this may turn out badly. From my experience at ODU freshman year of college you have to be polite, neutral and brief all at the same time otherwise bad things could start happening.
Before I know it a girl (yes they were hollering at us with a girl while a girl was with them) in the back seat rolls down her window and starts yelling at us "They are just trying to say hi! What’s your problem?!" (With some choice words added in). More words were said from my crew and she starts of open the door. Once she realizes that there are 5 girls and 1 of her (I am hoping thats why) she closes her door and they slowly drive away. We had stopped because the sister's friend saw her friend and stopped to talk and tell him what was going on. The white car drives about a block up and stops to wait for us. I showed my friends where they were and we took another way. My roommate, her cousin and I started lecturing them on how to just ignore rather than get shot. For some reason all they wanted to do was to fight (gang initiation?) and that was it. I never liked
Richmond and I definitely never will.
